LAUREN ROBERTS, PT, RUN PROGRAM DIRECTOR, FOUNDER OF THE RUNNING PHYSIO
Lauren Roberts is a physiotherapist, running coach, and leader in the physio community with over a decade of experience helping runners move better, train smarter, and run pain-free. As the founder of The Running Physio in Toronto, Ontario, she leads The Runner’s Program at Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine Centres and is known for her evidence-based, practical approach that bridges the gap between rehab and performance. She has been featured in numerous magazines, podcasts, as well as the New York Times.
Ryan Shea is the owner of South Simcoe Physiotherapy (Alliston and Tottenham, ON) and an FCAMPT therapist with nearly 20 years of experience. He has advanced training in dry needling, concussion management, and vestibular rehab, but his true passion is helping runners. Ryan teaches in McMaster University’s PT program, has assisted in the AIM manual therapy system, and brings both clinical expertise and personal running experience—marathons, trail races, and adventures through the Swiss Alps—to his practice. A self-professed “shoe nerd,” Ryan stays current on emerging trends in footwear. In 2023, he teamed up with Lauren to launch the Real Running Course.
